Cloudy 2 Trailer Countdown
Finally, the first trailer of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. I have the greatest pleasure and am so fortunate to be working on this movie with such talented and amazing friends.
Steven Wilson - The Raven That Refused to Sing
The trailer for “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” comes out tomorrow (February 27) and for the last 5 days Sony have been releasing posters through their Facebook page.
Check back tomorrow for the trailer! http://dlvr.it/30xQ3s
Amazing song by one of my favourite musicians of all time, Steven Wilson, and heartbreaking video clip from directors Jess Cope and Simon Cartwright. http://dlvr.it/2x470B

First look at Cloudy 2
_Life of Pi_
Read the book a few years back, and was amazed at how faithful the movie is to the source material. Watching this reminded me of why I love movies.
_Imagine Dragons: Night Visions_
Thanks to the trailer of “The Host” which used the opening track “Radioactive”, this album is on constant repeat.
_The Walking Dead (Season 03)_
Intense, suspenseful, great acting and a crap load of zombies. Best season yet.
_A Dance with Dragons_
I didn’t have the chance to read too much in 2012 but I did read this insanely huge book. Can’t wait for
“The Winds of Winter”
Here’s a first look at the production I’ve been animating on for the last 3 months, Cloudy 2! The original image is lot bigger, but USA Today have released this cropped tease. Hopefully more Cloudy 2 stuff start to show up on the internets. http://dlvr.it/2pdjtW

Hotel Transylvania Animation Reel
Awesome 4th year film from Sheridan College student Guilllaume Chartier, entitled “Laundry Day”.
Great unexpected ending to this. http://dlvr.it/2f2sjw
Hotel Transylvania was by far the best (and most challenging) project, as well as the most rewarding. After returning back to Sony Imageworks from holidays to work on “Cloudy 2”, I was able to obtain the shots I animated on Hotel T.
Above is a drawing that director Genndy Tartakovsky drew in a dailies session to convey his wishes for this particular shot in the pool sequence. I was lucky enough to keep it and have him sign it. He also drew a ‘Dexter’s Laboratory’ drawing in my book. I totally geeked out.
Here’s my reel:
Congrats to everyone who worked on it and contributed to its success, and to everyone who went and watched it! http://dlvr.it/2WNXYg
